about us - Samira and Yannick
Life in the Orion Nebula

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.

Langston Hughes

Samira

a nomad at heart,

frequently away with the fairies,

mad about clay, midsummer floral crowns, the Negev,

travel-wandering, psytrance, bones.

Infatuated with all things aesthetically pleasing to myself,

searching for inspiration and ceramic teacher(s),

momentarily on a muddy road and willing to go wherever life takes me.

Yannick

earthling and day dreamer,

possessing deep love for nature.

Plant whisperer. Spirited.

On a mission to live an alternative life.

Motivated by art, eco building and farming,

beautiful minds and mindful technology.

Guided by my inner voice on a journey of learning and personal growth.

It wasn’t long after we first met that we knew we would embark on a journey fuelled by the desire to learn about alternative ways of living and creativity. Samira is driven by her love of pottery and Yannick is the explorer and visionary. The birth of A Muddy Road is in gratitude of our chosen path. Our intention is to live and learn as much as we can; most likely in places not often listed as tourist destinations and in ways that most definitely will challenge our comfort zones.
